Here is one sample recipe from the book for homemade moisturizer:
Shea Facial Butter - Shea Butter is one of the best natural anti-aging moisturizers around.
Ingredients
• 1/8 cup shea butter
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch
• 1/8 cup rose hips
• 1/2 teaspoon safflower oil
Grind the rose hips into a fine dust. Combine all ingredients together in a mini food processor and puree until smooth. Let ingredients infuse together for several hours or overnight.
Strain into clean container prior to moisturizing. (Heat the mixture briefly in the microwave if the consistency is too thick to strain after refrigeration).
Sue also gives you a long list of antiaging oils which you can substitute or use to come up with your own homemade skincare ideas. Many of the ingredients listed in these natural recipes come straight from your kitchen so you won't have to purchase a thing to get started.
