Write articles for Ezinearticles.com, start a blog or website, do a newsletter. If people think you are the authority, they value your opinion and advice. It won't really matter what product you sell. The product itself becomes almost irrelevant.
Don't chase after friends and family or look for ways to bring up your great business opportunity with everyone you meet. This is an invitation to frustration and failure. If you're a professional and an expert, they will come to you and there is no need to chase after anyone.
2. Let people get to know you.
What you are really promoting is yourself - not your biz op. You are promoting your expertise, your business methods, your values. Make use of the feature to add your photo to your blog or website. Write a bio that let's people know they are dealing with a real person. Social networking sites are great tools for putting yourself out there so people can get to know you and what you have to offer.
