More Chia Seed Recipes




The many benefits of chia seeds make them a naturally wonderful addition to your diet. High in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, fiber, protein, calcium, magnesium and potassium, chia seeds pack a powerful nutritional punch.

You can eat chia seeds mixed into any baking mix, such as bread or muffins, sprinkle on salads or in yogurt or mix with your daily smoothie.

Here are a few tasty chia seed recipes:

Chia Smoothie


Add chia seeds to any smoothie. Put one tsp chia seeds into 3/4 cup of juice and wait for it to turn to chia gel (about 10 minutes). Stir often. Add to smoothie with other ingredients.

Chia Guacamole Recipe

Mash 2 avocados stir in:
1 scoop chia seeds
2 tbs lemon juice
2 tbs onion chopped finely
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbs olive oil

Serve anyplace you would use guacamole.

Chia Yogurt Breakfast Dish

Mix 1 scoop chia seeds with 1/2 cup apple juice and wait for it to turn to gel, stirring occasionally.
Add 1 yogurt in flavor of your choice
3/4 cup granola
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Makes a delicious, nutritious breakfast.

Chia Stir Fry

Mix 1 scoop chia seeds with enough soy sauce to cover seeds.
Wait one minute.
Heat 2 tbs sesame oil in a frying pan and chicken or beef strips
Saute until meat is golden brown.
Add stir fry veggies and chia soy mixture and stir fry until veggies are tender.

Serve over rice or Chinese noodles.
