Self-healing with the Silva Method

I believe in self-healing and the ability of the body to do miraculous things. I'd heard of the Silva Method but never looked into it until now. I've written here about the tingling and numbness I have all over my body and lately it has been worsening so yesterday, when a friend sent me a link to information about the Silva Method, I read everything on their website.

According to the Silva Method of Mind Body Healing, you can cure yourself and others of otherwise deadly diseases like diabetes, arthritis, high cholesterol, heart problems, and even cancer.

Instead of using medications for these problems, which have many side-effects, the Silva Method recommends training your mind to heal your body. Using the Silva Mind Body Healing Methods you can unleash the healing abilities that lie within your mind.

All of this sounded like a "coincidence" for my life. The Silva Method course seemed to be exactly what I needed at the time I needed it.

This course promises to help me save my own life and health. Here's the video that a friend sent to me.

I decided to register for the free audio on the Silva method and sign up for the free online lesson. After looking at that information, I was sold on trying this program. I even signed up for it, then at the last minute, decided to wait.

Once my info got into the Silva system, I received an email with an offer to try part of the program for seven days for just $1.

I was very impressed with what I got for that dollar! There were 10 audio lessons, each with 4 to 6 parts, which I downloaded to my Ipod. I've been listening to the audios every chance it get. Part 4 deals with self-healing so I can't wait to get to that part.

The Silva Method is recommended by Jack Canfield, well known author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Books and Shakti Gawain, who's book, "Living in the Light" helped to change my life when I read is many years ago.

The Silva Method isn't just about self-healing, it is also about living whatever life you choose to live and manifesting your dreams. If you have health challenges, however, the life of your dreams most specifically includes good health.

I will keep you posted on what I learn from using the Silva Method and whether it helps me heal the tingling and numbness in my body.

If you're new to blogging, or even if you aren't, learning how to make money blogging is a technique that can be learned, as long as you have an expert teacher. The Niche Blogger Program gives you that step by step expertise on blogging for a living.

Money can be made through blogging but it begins with choosing the right topic. The Niche Blogger tells you how to come up with a money making idea, then how to create a self-hosted Wordpress blog, put different targeted ads on it and start earning. Every detail is explained in, what else, blog fashion.

You read the Niche Blogger's blog day by day and do whatever the action is for that day. At the end of the first month you've created a blog that's on it's way to success. The Niche Blogger method advocated creating several blogs to optimize your earnings. You can ask questions in the comment section or get on the helpful forum for guidance also.

If you've never considered a self-hosted WordPress blog before, it can be a daunting task to create one. The Niche Blogger teaches you how to transfer your WordPress blog to a hosting site, how to add plug-ins and widgets and which ones will enhance your money making and traffic aspect to your blog.

The Niche Blogger also teaches you about search engine optimization and how to get traffic to your blog.

The Niche Blogger is a membership site and you pay month by month. You can cancel anytime or whenever you get your blogs on their way. The first month deals with choosing a topic and set up but later on you can also learn about email campaigns, doing newsletters and videos and more to increase your income.

A couple months ago, I decided to do a self-hosted Word Press blog. I could have used some good blogging guides to explain the basics. As it was, I pestered my friend, Andrea, with questions and she was nice enough to help me out so I could get started.

Then someone recommended The Niche Blogger to me. This blogging guide is aimed directly at those who want to make money blogging and even if you're an old hand at it, you'll find useful info here.

The Niche Blogger speaks from expertise. Her own blogs are now making over $5000 a month.

If you are confused like I was about setting up a Wordpress blog, or want to learn how to make money blogging, I highly recommend this site. In a short time you'll have your blog set up and running - then all you'll need is content (but The Niche Blogger also covers keywords and how to write a well-seo'd blog posting).

What's the Best Weightloss Program

I believe in healthy weightloss and eating a healthy diet. I love to cook too. I think lately I've been getting a little too much of the healthy diet though and I've put on about 15 lbs of stubborn belly fat. I know there are several weightloss programs out there where you can order the food and after investigating almost all of them, I chose Nutri-Systems.

My sister tried Nutri-systems for about 3 months and lost about 20 lbs. She said the food was good and plentiful and the cost was terrific when you consider what you are saving by not going grocery shopping. My husband is also going to go on the program with me for a couple months so it will be easier with menu planning-and I get a couple months off cooking duty!

I called Nutri-Systems to see if we could save any money by both of us doing the plan. I spoke to a very nice representative who gave me a couple of special deals. One was explained on the internet- if you do autoship, you get a week's worth of food free the first and second month. The other was a special phone offer of $30 off for both myself and my husband.

I got the basic program for myself but with the help of the representative, I made some substitutions in the lunch and dinner menus. If left to my own devices, I would rather avoid beef products and usually only cook beef because my husband likes it. This way, we can eat different dinners.

For my husband, I got the men's menu plan, which includes a little more food. He would also like to lose about 15-20 lbs and because he has high blood sugar, it is important that he lose for his health.

My food arrives at the end of the week so I'll keep you posted on my weightloss progress with losing those ugly 15 pounds!

Self-Healing - Is It Possible to Create Good Health?

I believe in self-healing and I write many articles encouraging people to try alternative therapies like yoga, meditation, positive thoughts, vitamins and herbs. Recently, I had to admit I was not following my own self-healing advice.

About two years ago, I started having a tingling sensation throughout my entire body. It was as if my body was falling asleep. My arms and legs tingled, even my face and mouth tingled. It was ever present, although it seemed less in the mornings.

I did the practical things to find out the cause of this strange illness. I went to the doctor and then to a neurologist, who did some tests. I had no nerve damage and he couldn't find a cause. I even tried a medication, although I am against taking medications generally, but it didn't help. He told me "If you know it won't kill you, maybe you'll relax and it will go away."

I tried acupuncture, which helped while I was undergoing treatments but the tingling returned later. I tried chiropractics too, which seemed to ease the tingling in my arms but didn't help the rest of me.

It didn't. I changed doctors and the new one sent me for a second opinion on the tingling. The second doctor didn't do any tests but he did say that my symptoms didn't fit any of the illnesses he usually dealt with and he said, "You may never know the cause of the tingling sensation."

Lately the tingling seemed to become worse, which in turn stressed me out. So was the stress making it worse or was I stressed because it really WAS worse? The tingling did improve whenever I was proactively doing anything to improve it, such as acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments so was it just something I created in my own mind?

For me to have these physical problems, with no known cause or cure, is very ironic to me. I've always told people to be proactive toward their health and I believe we can create good health with our thoughts. Why was this not working for me then?

I decided that, although I eat a very nutritional diet, I drink Calli Tea to detox daily and I exercise daily, I wasn't trying other things like meditation, EFT and other self-healing principles. I had tried these off and on but never really stuck with them to see if it would ultimately ease the tingling sensations.

I've been listening to Louise Hay's great CD Self-Healing which is helping me to change my thoughts to help me back to good health.

I believe, as Louise Hay says, that I created this dis-ease for some reason and it's up to me to bring myself back to perfect health. I am willing to release the pattern in me that has created this condition. I acknowledge my own power - both to create the problem and to take my power back and create health.

I've been taking a yoga class for about 2 months but recently had to skip nearly 3 weeks when I went on vacation. Did I feel stiff and ungainly! Now I'm back to the yoga again, which includes some meditation. I am also meditating on my own for 15 minutes a day.

I would like to hear from others who may be suffering from a tingling sensation throughout their bodies. I've read forums and there are many people out there who also can't find a cause or cure for this. I'll keep readers posted on how my own self-healing is going.

Update to this blog entry: I recently discovered another helpful program for self-healing - The Silva Method of Mind Body Healing which includes meditations and other methods to learn to control your thoughts and create good health. I will also be blogging about this process as I go through it.

Does Dining Out Make You Fat?

Can you eat out and watch your weight too? It depends on how often you dine out and what food choices you make. If you like Cheesecake Factory and order their Fried Macaroni and Cheese, you'll set yourself back a whopping 1,570 calories and 69 grams of fat!

Of course, if you order a dish like fried macaroni and cheese, you'd expect the calorie count to be astronomical, I'd say.

I read these reports about American's expanding waistlines and how bad restaurant food is for us but I eat out quite a bit and I know that if you stick to the portion of the menu that says "Weight Watchers" or "low carb," or whatever their weight conscious menu options are, you can eat tasty food and still not gain weight.

I guess the problem is that when people eat out, they tend to throw common sense and diets out the window. Portions are huge in most restaurants and ingredients are added for taste, like salt, butter and other fats, or sugar, without regard for weight management.

We travel a good deal and I know it can be difficult to find menu options that are easy on the waistline. I generally stick to a salad with dressing on the side - and a low calorie option at that. Restaurants like Applebees and Chili's both have weight conscious menus as well.

Here are some great weightloss tips for dining out.

Check the nutritional content of your favorite restaurant's food.
